Make Your Bachelorette a Success with Virtual Wine Tasting
The pandemic may have thrown a wrench your bachelorette plans, but our private virtual wine tastings have been growing in popularity as a fun experience to do while staying home.
Even if the crew can’t quite make it to Sonoma County’s beautiful Russian River Valley, Inman can help create that experience of wine country virtually and add a memorable element to your bachelorette festivities.
Whether your bride is a wine connoisseur or a wine newbie, we can gear our tastings to entertain both. Your bride deserves a tasting that goes beyond bottles of delicious well-crafted wines, so scroll on for a list of items Inman Family Wines will help with to make it a *grape* celebration!
We will ship the members of your bridal party the wines, and our owner and winemaker, Kathleen Inman will make a special appearance to lead the tasting and guide you through a virtual tour of our organically farmed vineyard and eco-friendly winery as well as tasting the specially selected wines with you.
We can also work with you to:
- Send out your invitations for joining us over Zoom video conference;
- Provide a wine tasting menu;
- Offer a list of suggested snacks that will pair nicely with the wines you have chosen;
- Offer to lead or assist with games.

Frequetly Asked Questions
How is the event arranged?
After calling us to set a date, all participants will need a trio from our Wine Shop (we can also make a custom trio -- or make other special arrangements to tailor your event to you).
Typically we use our Zoom account to host the event. You provide a list of contact information for your participants and we will send the calendar invites containing the Zoom video conference link and instructions, as well as a reminder email the day of the tasting.
How much do private virtual wine tasting events cost?
We have created virtual tasting packages -- “Trios” which include the wines, the tasting and ground shipping. You will be charged the cost of the wine, in addition to applicable taxes and any additional shipping charges for Next Day Air shipping services if required.
In addition, you can contact us to customize a unique tasting set for your participants.
What is the minimum number of participants and wine to book a private virtual tasting event?
To book a tasting you need a minimum of 5 participants (or households).
How far in advance do we need to book this event?
It is best to have everyone's orders in at least 7 business days before the event date, but we can work on shorter notice if required and have very good next day air rates (a $25 surcharge).
Do participants need to open all the wines for the tasting?
Participants are welcome to open one or all of their wines - there’s no wrong way to virtual wine taste! Kathleen will lead the group through all of the wines and participants can either enjoy all of the wines alongside you or save some of the bottles to enjoy at a later date, armed with new information about the wines and the region. The good news is if you do open all, they will still be tasty 3-5 days once opened if sealed and put in the refrigerator.
How do we contact you with more questions or to book a tasting?
