(March 13, 2019; Santa Rosa, Calif.) – An early pioneer in producing a premium and “intentional” rosés of Pinot Noir, winemaker Kathleen Inman of Russian River Valley based Inman Family Wines has announced the addition of two new single-vineyard rosés to her Endless Crush® brand, making her one of the first California winemakers to truly focus on single-vineyard wines within the category. Inman launched Endless Crush® from her organically-farmed Olivet Grange Vineyard 15 years ago, well before the rosé “boom,” in a time when premium dry rosés were unheard-of in California. Inman now adds to her original bottling with two additional single-vineyard bottlings from Pratt Vine Hill and Pratt Sexton Road vineyards.
“I wanted to add new single-vineyard wines to the Endless Crush® series because I believe the time has come for rosé to have a place on the table in the world of wine fine,” says Kathleen. “Endless Crush® demonstrates how capable rosé is of expressing terroir when treated with care, picked early, and made with intention. I hope people will enjoy Endless Crush® year-round as an appropriate ‘third category’ alternative to white and red wine.”
Each wine is line-priced at $38 SRP. The wines are available at the Inman Family Wines Tasting room, online at InmanFamilyWines.com, and are distributed to select markets in limited quantities by Broadbent Selections.
Kathleen first created Endless Crush® in 2004 as a gift to her husband Simon, in honor of their 20th wedding anniversary. The wine was an “intentional” rosé, crafted through the direct press method, and made in a dry style, reminiscent of the wines of Provence which Kathleen first fell in love with while traveling through France over twenty-five years ago. Since 2004, Endless Crush® has achieved great popularity among the media and consumers, and it has steadily grown to meet demand.
The Endless Crush® series is comprised of the following wines:
OGV Rosé: The original Endless Crush, OGV hails from the Inman Family Wines’ own 10.45-acre organically-farmed Olivet Grange Vineyard estate in the Russian River Valley. The wine is made in a dry style that emphasizes acidity, structure, and purity of fruit.
Pratt Vine Hill Rosé: The Pratt Vine Hill Vineyard, located in the Laguna Ridge of the Russian River Valley, is known for its sandy Goldridge soils. This rosé was inspired by the classic flavors of Provençal rosé. This wine saw very limited skin contact, resulting in a delicate, bright, light-colored wine.
Sexton Road Rosé: The Pratt Sexton Road vineyard is located in the Sonoma Coast and is known for producing Pinot Noir of strength and power. The rosé from this plot tends is the richest rosé of the Endless Crush® series.
All Endless Crush® bottles feature the Yorkshire rose, a label illustrated by Ellen Riendeau of Soda Rock Studios. The embossed botanical image keeps with Inman’s dedication to “eco-ethics,” and is made with no foils and only water-based inks.
