Sonoma County Pinot Noir specialist Kathleen Inman said the vintage reminds her of 2008.
"The fruit was very beautiful," Inman said. "High acids and high brix with some lots going though malolactic fermentation during primary fermentation. The wines have beautiful fruit flavors, a strong acid backbone and gorgeous color. It will be interesting to see how they develop in barrel."
