The 2011 vintage is developing lovely aromas of tart lemon, wet rocks and toasted hazelnuts. It has a rich texture with a crisp finish with plenty of acidity. This is without doubt the best Chardonnay we have made to date. Alcohol is 12.6%. "Bright with a nervous energy" was the comment from a recent taster.
The 2011 exhibits delicate secondary notes minerals and sea shells - all with low alcohol and bright aciditiy. Indeed, this is a unique expression of Russian River Valley Chardonnay with some new French oak, full malolactic yet remains bright and juicy.

2011 Inman Family Russian River Valley Chardonnay, CA, $35 (S) – Rating 4.1 This Chardonnay offers a lovely combination of rich flavors and crisp acidity. The nose of baked apples and ripe pineapple gives way to flavors of ripe red apple, roasted pineapple, Meyer lemon and intriguing minerality with a hint of creaminess. As the wine opens, subtle yet complex notes of vanilla and caramel dance in the finish
