Kathleen Inman appointed to Board of Directors of Wine Road

Bruce Thomas, the Wine Road Board President, has held a vote with the current Board members of the Wine Road and they unanimously approved the appointment of Darek Trowbridge from Old World Winery and Kathleen Inman from Inman Family Wines to fill the vacancy’s on our Board of Directors. Darek and Kathleen will take the seats left by Nancy Beeken and Johanna Lieblein – both seats run through April 2013.

The mission of the Wine Road is to increase awareness of Alexander, Dry Creek and Russian River Valleys through education and marketing while promoting Sonoma County as the year-round wine country destination. The Wine Road is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of 10 winery and 3 lodging representatives.

About Kathleen Inman

Kathleen is the owner of Inman Family Wines where she has been the winemaker, viticulturalist, tasting room manager, and forklift driver for over 10 years. A native of the Napa Valley, Kathleen moved in 1983 to England to complete a degree in Art History. From 1984 until her return to California in 1998, she worked in England for Price Waterhouse, Coopers & Lybrand, and later executive search firm GKR Group. She earned her MBA from the University of Bradford Management Center specializing in corporate finance and strategic marketing. Kathleen and her family resettled in California in 1998 to engage in grape growing and winemaking.
